The search was on to find a narrative that would dovetail into a visual idea that was strong enough to carry the whole brand identity. After a few basic drafts and concept validation, the big idea emerged to hinge the branding on a celebration of the big screen and everyone's unique cinema experiences.

The overarching theme, "for the love of the big screen", covers not just movie-goers, but those who write, direct and produce movies; the people who run the supply chain between the movie set and the cinema chair; runners; popcorn sellers and everyone in between: it shows how each person plays an indispensable role in the cinematic experience.⁠
